Mosman Toastmasters Club was On the 2nd of August 1973. The club was formed from members of Forest Toastmasters Club, at Frenchs Forest, who met at The Mosman Hotel near the junction of Military Road and Spit Junction. However, the original Mosman Hotel no longer exists. The club moved to Mosman RSL for a short while and then to North Sydney Rugby Leagues Club at Cammeray where it stayed for over 10 years. In 1993, the club moved to Norths Rugby Union Club, St Leonards.
Magnificent Mosman Club has had a strong tradition of fine speakers. Some have gone on to become professional motivational speakers whilst others have gone on to be the public spokesperson for their company. All have gained in confidence to communicate their ideas clearly.
